There are numerous stories and testimonies where OMB made a difference, providing help with groceries gasoline, toiletries, and immediate needs.
“Dear Operation Military Blessings, On behalf of our entire family, we would like to say that we’re so grateful for your generous support during the hurricanes, Milton’s and Helene, it put many hardships onus. The money helped offset the costs for an extra hotel room for our disabled twins, food, extra medicines not covered by insurance, and additionally unexpected expenses such as diapers, wipes extra clothing needed during the hurricane during the months we were displaced.”

“We experienced a scenario in which a Soldier attempted suicide and was admitted to the ER medical hold until treatment could be coordinated at an out of state inpatient facility. The Soldier was the primary breadwinner for the family, and his absence from work during the one month treatment resulted in a financial hardship for the spouse and kids. Through the use of gift cards we were able to assist the family with diapers, formula, food and fuel and provide reassurance to the soldier that his family was being taken care of – thus encouraging him to focus on his treatment and getting better.”
“Military family experienced a traumatic, life threatening event resulting in the Soldier and one child being hospitalized in a location two hours away from the family’s home. Gift cards were provided to the Family to assist with the fuel expenses resulting from the commute to and from the hospital, and to help offset the cost of food incurred by the family during their extended stays at the hospital to be with the Soldier while he was recovering. Use of these gift cards helped alleviate the financial burden placed on the family, allowing them to focus on supporting the soldier through recovery.”
“Coming up with the funding to secure housing has taken every dime that they have. When I inquired if he had food .. the response was.. “ I have $25 to spend on food for the next 2 weeks for me and my bride.” When I said that there was an organization that cared about him and wanted to assist he was in disbelief. The ability to provide for his new bride brought him to tears. He was so thankful.
Thank you Operation Military Blessings!”

- We had another member who suddenly became the primary custodial parent of his child, who was living in another state. He was not anticipating the increase food expense. OMB stepped in to secure a smooth transition for the child and provided dad with hope.
